Create Ad

In the ‘Create Ad’ section, advertiser can create a new ad.

We can create 2 types of ads, Text Ad and Banner Ad.

TEXT AD

To create a ‘Text Ad’, choose the correct ad type, ad format, target device and the Locale.

Now enter the details of the ad here.

Ad Display Settings

Name : This is the name given to the ad. This name is displayed in the advertiser section and admin section for future references.

Title : This is the title of the ad. You can see  the title in the ‘Ad Demo’ section.

Description : This is the description of the Ad. In the ‘Ad Demo’ section, we can see the description.

Display URL : This is the url displayed in the ad. The display url is visible in the ‘Ad Demo’ section.

Click URL  : This is the url loaded when we click on the ad.

Bid & Budget Settings

Default Click Value : This is the default click value for the ad (for keyword independent target). That is, if the ad displayed in a site independent of keyword, and if any one click on the ad, the amount spend will be equal to the default click value. There is a suggested click value and this value is generated based on the existing ad pricing.

Daily Budget : This is the daily budget for the ad. If exceeds this budget, the ad won’t display again in that day.

Ad Demo

We can see the ad that we have created when we click on the ‘Ad Preview’ button.

After creating the ad, click the ‘Create Ad’ button. Your ad is now created. You can specify the keywords and click value here.

Here you can add the keywords to the ad. In the keywords section you can enter keywords separated by comma or new line and enter the click value.

Also you can see all the targeted keywords here and can edit the click value or delete the keyword.

You can see the status of the ad in the top right corner.

To edit the ad, click the ‘Edit Ad’ link and to delete it, click the ‘Delete Ad’ link. Click the “Report” link to see the reports of the ad.

To manage the target locations, click the ‘Locations’ tab.

Here we can select the locations where you want to display the ad.

It is worldwide by default. If you want to display it in United States only, please select United States in the left column and move it to right column by clicking the right direction arrow.

After selecting the locations, click the ‘Add Location’ button. Now the text ad is ready.

BANNER AD

To create a banner ad, choose the ad type ‘Banner Ad’ in the create ad section.

Ad Display Settings

Name : This is the name given to the ad. This name is displayed in the advertiser section and admin section for future references.

Click URL  : This is the url loaded when we click on the ad.

Banner Size : This is the size of the banner ad. You can select the size from the drop down menu.

Banner : You can upload the banner here.
